Try to switch all of the lights off before it's too late!
This may be a little tricky since clicking on a light not only flips it but also the ones touching it...
Thinking Mathematically
Here are some questions to consider:
- How many different possible positions are there?
- What's the most number of moves you should need to solve the puzzle? How do you know?
- Are there any impossible positions? That is, situations from which you can't solve the puzzle? Can you prove it? For example, can you get just the middle light on? Or all except for the middle light on?
- Does it matter what order you do the moves in?
